Pastor Smith & Family
Pastor Brad Smith grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. He was saved and baptized at Faith Baptist Temple at the age of five. Soon after, Brad’s family joined Shawnee Baptist Church. It was there that Brad was called to preach and surrendered to full-time Christian service at age thirteen.

After high school, Pastor Smith enrolled in Shawnee Baptist College. There Brad met his wife-to-be, Kristen. They were married at Kristen’s home church in West Virginia in 2001. Brad and Kristen both graduated from Shawnee in 2002.

The Smiths started their ministry in Toledo as a youth and music pastor. After moving from Toledo, Brad served as interim pastor at a church in Indiana before coming to Calvary Chapel as an assistant pastor.

In June of 2010, Pastor Smith was called to be the pastor at Calvary Chapel. He is honored by the privilege and excited about the opportunity to continue to build the ministry of Calvary Chapel Baptist Church.
